First Volunteers!!

The first volunteers at Isiaiah 54 have been quite busy. Besides theregular activities, they have been doing lots of other things.

Glynnis, the lady behind Isiaiah 54, is a big fan of Winnie the Pooh and this will nolonger be a secret, as the wall around the building has now been painted with a bigWinnie the Pooh mural, thanks to volunteers Inge and Julia.

Inge and Julia also befriended a South African ladywho had very sadly lost her twins. They wanted to give her somethingspecial so they decided to make one of her dreams come true: they gave her herfirst driving lesson!

Inge writes:
"Just before we left, we were able to make a dream come true. Julia andI gave her her first driving lesson. And I have to say that she did quite well. She was tense and nervous, but she really enjoyed drivingthe car. Of course, she wanted to show everyone she knew!"
