New period

The new volunteers have adapted quickly and are working hard in Helenvale. As there are holidays these weeks in SA all the schools are closed and the volunteers have been focussing on a holiday programme for the Helenvale neighboorhood children.
At least 150 turn up everyday and it is quite a job to structurize that and offer fun activities. Some of the activities have been aerobics, face painting, sports and games of which the children can not get enough. Some have been queing for 2 hours to get theri face painted, so a lot of devotion from the volunteers to make all happy.
Good to see the new and enthusiastic group here in PE
