Well things have really been hectic.  What with trying to fix up everything at the New Volunteers House and the more you fix the more you find to fix but at least it is liveable.

I never realized how I would miss my past volunteers but when I look at the photos on the wall I remember the wonderful things that happened while they were here.  Smiling faces full of wonderful memories, and we are only 8 months down the line, still another 4 months of wonderful people to meet.

Well the kitchen, guess what, it is still not finished, I put in a list of 3 A4 pages of complaints, they arrived and removed all the croocked doors and left with a promise of two weeks time as new material for the doors had to be ordered.  Well it is now the second week and no sign of a kitchen.

Thank goodness we have our chief cheff, Annelise (pity she goes home in a week and a half).  She has cooked until the cows come home and still does it with a smile.  We had the greatest pancakes tonight.  Bacon, cheese, apple and plain.  Wow they were delicious.  That is definetly something the children really enjoy, pancakes of all flavours. My wonderful volunteers have spoiled them rotten over the months with the delicious food, thank goodness I dont cook or else I have a very high standard to live up to.

We bought a new washing machine, our old one died on us, and as you can see from the photo, this is how we got it home from Makro, Sandra squashed in the side of the car.  A very good weight loss programme if you are prepared to sliiiiiide in and stay put.

In about a months time our 'little yellow house' will belong to Isiaiah, as the transfer should be through.  We are really looking forward to getting that up and running.

Isiah turned 1 yesterday, and really thinks he is such a star as he also walked his first three or four steps.  He walks and then laugh's as if it is really funny to be moving on his own.

We also had great news yesterday, Donovan's adoption is final after waiting 5 years.

We also have a new baby, born on the 11th August, so he is only about 3 weeks, a prem baby so verrrrrrrrry small, and verrrrrrry cute.

Well till next time, lots of love and kisses to all who have and will be part of out life.
