Goodbye

Dear all,

After just over two years working for Be More in South Africa, I have decided that for me it's time to move on and do something else.

In the past years, I've seen Be More grow from just 1 project with 6 volunteers to the many projects and volunteers as it has now. And it makes me proud to have been part of that. To see how many people care about the projects as I do and to see the hard work, love and care towards the projects.

I've met many people over the past years and I'm greatful for that.
I've worked with a great team and extraordinary people.
I was able to have a close look at the projects and became to love and admire all of them.

But now it's time for me to move on.
I'll leave with so so many good memories and so much more knowlegde than I could ever have hoped for.

I want to say "Thank you" to the BM team, the projects and all the past volunteers for a period in my life I'll never forget.

Let's hope Be More will grow even more and that more local people will get the support they deserve. There is still so much to be done here!

I'll stay on living in South Africa and for those with questions you can always email me.

Thank you so much for everything you have done for Be More and off course for the volunteers. I really enjoyed you having over in the volunteerhouse for tea ;-). And off course all the chatting and fun we had. Hope you will find a new job that you like! Will you say hi to Rhona for me if you still see her? Thanks again! Hope to see you in the future!

Hi Tessa,
Somehow you' re decision isn't totally out of the blue. I guess it is time to move on, like you said. I know you've put your heart and soul in the projects, especially Agape. Must be difficult to leave. I know you've stolen the hearts of so many children of Agape and I hope you'll still pay them a visit every once in a while.

Hi Tessa,
I wish you all the best with your new start. We met last January, when I was a volunteer at Agape. I'll be back January 2009 and be the first volunteer for the project Sinethemba Shelter. Thanks for your help and maybe we'll meet again next month.
