A BIG THANK YOU

On behalf of Management, Staff  and Patients - Just a BIG thank you to all the Volunteers that came to The  Dream Centre in 2008.  You contribution to The Dream Centre was invaluable - Money can not buy what you have done. And then "Siya Bonga" (thank You) for you financial assistance.  This has not gone unnotticed.

Thanks to ALL for their passion, tender loving care, smiles and giving of them selves. Patients notices this -they can feel the warmth and this gives them courage to hold on.

Thank you to ALL who so faithfully pushed the patients in wheel chairs to the chapel for spiritual uplieftment, to the shops and downstairs to the physio.  Thanks to ALL who helped with physio.  You were our hands and feet.  You assisted the patients to the bathrooms and toilets - you washed them.   You took them to Home Affairs, to Social Services for grants etc.

You took them in the rain and sunshine.  You bought them sweets, treats
and drinks. For some it was the last - others the only treats that they get as their families have abandoned them.  

That is why we give them a started pack of toiletries for free when they arrive here, like - face cloths, toothpaste, toothbrush, towels, pyjamas, gowns, slippers, soap, hand and body lotion, disposable razors, dodorant etc.   

AND BE-MORE STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS MADE LOTS OF THINGS POSSIBLE FOR US.
