It was a special day for Sandile today, as he went to school for the first time in his life! Sandile, 12 years old, is mentally disabled and lives at Mother of Peace with this brother and sister (triplets). Until now he went with the younger children to our daycare but he realy got to big for that.

We found a special school for him in Adams Mission, not too far from Mother of Peace where he will learn al necessary skills like writing, counting, dealing with money, hygiene, grooming etc. We just picked him up from school and he was very happy and exited. All the other children were also very happy for him and they were very qurious how his first day went.

Splendid! I'm very very happy for Sandile that he is going to school sothat he can learn to write and count. He was too big for the day care. My compliments to Wilma for all the good things you do at MoP. Please give Sandile a big hug from me.
