The Queen &...Bling Bling

Hats off to our Volunteers who worked with a seriously handicapped child left in a car outside a hotel all day while said mother and father were sitting in a pub partaking of alcoholic beverages telling us they were sober! Jackie and I informed both that they were as pissed as newts which they did not like so we were told to call the said father ESQUIRE ....do I need to tell you what he was called by me!

Also a big congratulations to Kerry Ladyfair and Michelle who successfully passed their first phase of the Lay Councillor course today! All three are starting back with Lifeline in April for phase 2. They really did well.

Our volunteers are working hard, one rape case today involves 5 children.

And you all thought I was joking! Our wonderful adorable Director Jackie has all the Bobbi Bear Children in Bling Bling shoes and me the Queen, Sheini and all the CSO's feel like birds - we all got as a present....wait for it............ fury, feather slippers. Mine are white with chicken and guinea fowl feathers. My loving husband sees me walking around our flat with these chicken shoes on and he seems to feel that he is already on holiday in a tent with chickens running around. So you have to give it to me I am trying really hard to get into this camping holiday. May I add that  the children in their seriously shiny glitter silver shoes are walking around the drop in and are so taken up with the bling bling that we have numerous children looking at the glitter and walking into walls! But take them off...Oh no, no chance of that, Jackie has to almost surgically remove them off their feet to get them bathed at night. Oh my word, I am not sure how I am going to explain the cost of these really horrendous shoes to our bookkeeper! I guess the snake is safe for a while again, Jax has somehow got very interested in the feathers and glitter!
