Rough Aunties won again! (Nu mét foto!!)

Dearest all,

I just spoke to Jackie on the phone when she told me this wonderful news. Rough Aunties was shown at the Bahrain Human Rights International Film Festival (BHRIFF) and won one of the 4 prizes. We are very proud of Thuli, who flew to Bahrain (BY HERSELF!!!) to promote the movie.

Amongst the thirty-five documentaries were entries from Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan and Nigeria at the four-day event, tough competition. It isn't often that an Arab nation will hold an event where human rights hold center stage. Especially when it comes to the rights of women.

So very well done Thuli and congratulations Bobbi Bear!!!
