MoP volunteers help out at Khanyisizwe Special School

Our first 2 volunteers (Eveline and Marieka) went to Sandile's school to help out. They go every Thursday to assist the teachers in the classrooms and do a creative activity with the children. It is a very special experience for both the children and the volunteers, not always easy, but very rewarding!

We would like to send 1 or 2 volunteers there every week to assist the school. Future volunteers with experience in working with mentaly disabled children, your ideas and help will be much appreciated!! Volunteers without this experience are ofcourse also more then welcome to go and help out.

Mother of Peace also donated 2 beds to the school, that they can use for the children that need to rest during break time or after taking medication.
