Financial feedback: May 2009

Dear all,

As of April 2009, Be More and our partners have started working with a new reporting process. This new process intends to make it easier for our partners to report back on donations spent with minimal effort, while giving us a clear idea of how funds have been spent.

With this new reporting process, Be More is better able to give feedback to our volunteers and donors about what their donations have accomplished. We do this in 'Financial feedback' messages on our Community, of which this is one.

In May 2009, Umthombo handed in a grant proposal to cover the costs of their new Safe Space Social Working Program for two months, until structural funding from British Airways will become available in September. Be More was able to grant half of this proposal, by transferring R 25,000 to cover the most urgent costs.

With this money, Umthombo can pay the social worker for Safe Space and continue their nutrition program for the kids coming into to Safe Space.
