enJust a little hello to everyone

screen picture

Well things are really starting to get back to normal.  Not much time to sit at the computer and write so while i have the chance a little bit of catch up.

The flat at Tahila Waki is now vacant and we are busy painting and setting up.
We have been very spoiled by our volunteers and have a beautiful training room in the flat. (very quiet no children).

We have been assisted by one of the parents at Damons School who does motors for gates, and he has been able to get us a motor for half the price as we were quoted so we will soon have a driveway gate that the children will not be able to pull open.

Donovan's MRI scan in clear, no problems were found in the brain, only a small problem on the neck area, but not something to worry about.  He has also been for his Occupational Therapy Assessment and we get the results this afternoon.  And he will also be going to an Endocrinologist in November.  I must say that this is the first time ever i have had such wonderful service from a Municipal Hospital and has really built my faith up in our Health facilities. I have just been for his O.T. Assessment results and he has scored as average, so no special education for him but a lot of work for us at home, practice practice practice.

We are busy sorting out Physio for Nxolisi and hope that this will help to ger more movement out of his body. I really hope thay can help him.

We have very snotty nosed children at the moment as the change from Autumn to Winter has been a bit harsh and all the children have colds and temperatures.

Well on Friday is our Winter Bread for the School Children so i am going to get a little more gray, but thank goodness for my energetic volunteers they will keep them busy.

Well that is all for now, a big big hug and a big big kiss to all of you.  Love and miss you all.

Glynnis

Hi dear,
what a wonderful news about the endresult of Donovan. I am so happy for all of you. I hope you have heard from Joyce the fysio by now as I am convinced she can be the one to assist mXolisi in getting some better. I miss you a lot and I am working on getting back already:) Give you a call later on this week. Hope the new volunteers can get started with the other rooms in the trainings house. Take care and big hug,
Ellen (G)

Well Glynnis, what a progress and what a busy movements! I'm happy that a lot of things don't seem to be as worse as you sometimes maybe have been thinking. It will give you hope and that's what you need.

A little bit more gray? Just fool your hair ( and yourself). Paint it !
